As the site of his first major championship, the Augusta National Golf Club will always hold a special place in Sergio Garcia's heart. It also served as the inspiration behind his newborn daughter's name.

Garcia and wife Angela welcomed their first child, Azalea, early Wednesday morning. According to Scott Michaux of the Augusta Chronicle, the couple picked the name as a nod to Augusta: Azalea is the most prominent flower found at the golf club and the name of the 13th hole, which proved pivotal for Garcia in the final round of the 2017 Masters.

Garcia said the adrenaline rush of preparing for his daughter's birth was on a different level than Sunday at Augusta.

"It's a different feeling," he said. "Obviously I'm not the one having it, so I'm kind of on the outside looking in, but I am excited and a little bit nervous for Angela and the baby to make sure that everything goes well. It's funny how the timing - it was supposed to be on Sunday - but it looks like she's coming a little bit early, and you know, we're excited for it. We can't wait."
