Ole Miss has found its replacement for the recently departed Andy Kennedy, as the Rebels are reportedly set to name Middle Tennessee's Kermit Davis as the program's next head basketball coach, sources told Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports.

Davis has been at the helm for the Blue Raiders since 2002, leading Middle Tennessee to NCAA tournament appearances in 2013, 2016, and 2017.

Mississippi struggled this season under Kennedy to the tune of a 12-20 record, and has not made it past the second round of the Big Dance since 2001. Kennedy resigned from his position in February after amassing a career record of 245-156 since taking the Rebels' head-coaching job in 2006.
