After donating to the March for Our Lives fundraising campaign, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony are now encouraging other NBA players to follow suit.

Wade announced Saturday on Twitter that he and wife Gabrielle Union will donate $200,000 to March for Our Lives, which was started by students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas - the Parkland, Fla. high school where 17 people were killed when a gunman opened fire on Feb. 14.

Wade made a surprise visit to Stoneman Douglas earlier this week. He has also dedicated the remainder of his season to Joaquin Oliver, one of the victims of the shooting who was buried in his jersey.

Students will rally in Washington, D.C. and other cities across the United States and Canada on March 24 "to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today."

Anthony tweeted that he'll be supporting the students of Baltimore, and that the National Basketball Players Association will match up to $25,000 for all player donations.

Chris Paul also responded, announcing that he will personally ensure students from Winston-Salem, N.C. are in D.C. for the march.

Wade, Anthony, and Paul (along with LeBron James) opened the 2016 ESPY Awards with a "call to action for all professional athletes" to use their influence to speak out against violence, give back to their communities, and ultimately inspire change.
