Ole Miss names Kermit Davis its next head coach

Ole Miss has its man, naming Kermit Davis its new head basketball coach Thursday.

Davis was previously the head coach at Middle Tennessee since 2002, leading the Blue Raiders to NCAA tournament appearances in 2013, 2016, and 2017.
The Rebels struggled this season under former head man Adam Kennedy, finishing with a 12-20 record. Kennedy resigned from his position in February.
