Sanchez meets UFC alum Sicilia in Bellator 198 co-headliner
Bellator 198's co-main event is set.
Streaking featherweight Emmanuel Sanchez will meet UFC veteran Sam Sicilia in the bill's penultimate bout on April 28 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., Bellator announced this week.
The 27-year-old Roufusport man has won three straight and was last seen submitting former champion Daniel Straus in the third round of Bellator 184's co-headliner in October. Sanchez heads into the contest with a promotional record of 8-2.
Sicilia joined the Scott Coker-led outfit in late 2017 after dropping three straight in the UFC, and ended the year with a unanimous decision over ex-bantamweight titleholder Marcos Galvao in his December promotional debut.
In the main event, Fedor Emelianenko and Frank Mir clash in the third of the heavyweight grand prix's four quarterfinal bouts.
