"The Simpsons" writers have done it again.
Adding to the long list of real-world events predicted by the longest-running American sitcom, a 2010 episode titled "Boy Meets Curl" sees Homer and Marge Simpson form a curling team and lead the U.S. to gold with a win over Sweden.
Al Jean, showrunner and executive producer of "The Simpsons," celebrated the prediction on Twitter after the U.S. men's team claimed the country's first-ever gold medal in curling early Saturday.
