The Washington Wizards will reportedly sign guard Ramon Sessions to a 10-day contract, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The Wizards have been pursuing point guard help since All-Star John Wall was ruled out after a knee surgery.

Sessions played for the New York Knicks this season before being released on Jan. 13 in order for the team to sign Trey Burke.

Sessions, in his 11th season, has played for eight different franchises, including a previous stint with the Wizards after being traded there in 2015 prior to the deadline. He subsequently played a full season as Wall's primary backup the following year.

The 6-foot-3 veteran averaged 3.7 points and 2.1 assists in 13 appearances with the Knicks.
