Tracy McGrady to be inducted into Magic Hall of Fame
Tracy McGrady is headed to the Hall of Fame ... again.
The Orlando Magic announced Thursday they will induct the retired superstar into their Hall of Fame on March 20 ahead of their game against the Toronto Raptors.
McGrady, 38, will be the fourth player in Orlando's HOF - joining Nick Anderson, Shaquille O'Neal, and Penny Hardaway - and the seventh inductee overall.
The Florida native spent four seasons with the Magic and averaged 28.1 points, seven rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.5 steals over 295 games, collecting two scoring titles and the 2001 Most Improved Player award. He still holds the record for the highest scoring average in a Magic uniform.
"We are extremely excited to continue our tradition of honoring those who made the most significant contributions to our history with the induction of Tracy McGrady into the Magic Hall of Fame," CEO Alex Martins said in a statement. "Home grown in Central Florida, T-Mac wowed us with his talent on a nightly basis, while making compassionate contributions in the community."

McGrady was previously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September. It's fitting that his next honor will come before Orlando's game against Toronto, where he started his career in 1997 and spent three seasons.
The seven-time All-Star retired after the 2011-12 campaign. He currently serves as an NBA analyst for ESPN and a special assistant to Martins.
