The Cleveland Cavaliers will sign shooting guard Marcus Thornton to a 10-day contract, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Not to be confused with 30-year-old shooting guard Marcus Thornton who played in the NBA from 2009-10 to 2016-17, this Thornton, 25, comes from William & Mary and was picked in the second round of the 2015 draft by the Boston Celtics.
Thornton averaged 18.8 points for the G League's Canton Charge this season.
