Toronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan and Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard have been named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week for games played between March 5 and March 11.

DeRozan and Lillard both led their teams to unbeaten weeks (Raptors 4-0, Blazers 3-0), and have them riding league-best active winning streaks of eight and nine games, respectively.

DeRozan's week featured a monstrous 42-point outing against the Detroit Pistons - which included both an incredible coast-to-coast dunk on Anthony Tolliver that helped send the game to overtime, and an end-to-end driving dish that set up Fred VanVleet's game-winner.

He also put in a more understated 23-point, seven-assist outing to help the Raptors snap the Houston Rockets' season-best 17-game win streak. He was a plus-50 for the week, ranking eighth in the NBA. It's his fifth Player of the Week nod this season, and the 10th of his career.

Lillard also guided the Blazers to a statement win, a 17-point beatdown of the Golden State Warriors that marked their second victory over the defending champs in less than a month. But that wasn't Lillard's most impressive individual performance of the week.

Against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier in the week, he went supernova in the fourth quarter, pouring in 19 of his 39 in the final frame - including a personal 14-2 run - to turn an 11-point deficit into a five-point win. A night later, He hung 37 on the New York Knicks, using just 23 shooting possessions to get there while canning eight of his 11 3-point attempts. It's Lillard's second Player of the Week award this season, and the fifth of his career.
