The Cleveland Indians are bringing a familiar face back into their organization, announcing Saturday they've signed outfielder Rajai Davis to a minor-league deal with an invite to spring training.

Davis hit one of the biggest home runs in Indians history, belting a game-tying, two-run blast off Aroldis Chapman during Game 7 of the 2016 World Series against the Chicago Cubs.

The Indians wound up losing the decisive contest in the 10th inning, but Davis' homer was one of the most memorable moments of the entire season.

The 37-year-old veteran then split the 2017 campaign between the Oakland Athletics and Boston Red Sox, appearing in 117 games while hitting .235/.293/.348 with 20 RBIs and 29 steals.

Known for his speed, Davis has stolen 394 bases during his 12-year MLB career.
