Love confident of his fit on new-look Cavs

The Cleveland Cavaliers have found their groove after ridding the aging malcontents from their locker room.

Cleveland entered the All-Star break on a four-game win streak, and it has looked rejuvenated and dominant since adding four players at the trade deadline. With LeBron James as the focal point, the periphery pieces have found an instant chemistry in their new home.

There is a question of how the Cavaliers will look once high-usage forward Kevin Love recovers from his broken hand. His return could conceivably upset the chemistry his team established without him, but Love is not concerned.

"We have a lot of selfless guys added, young guys who are playing extremely hard. I think you've seen that in the last two games in wins over Boston and OKC. So we just continue to keep playing hard," Love said on ESPN's The Jump on Friday.

"I'll fit in when I come back - and hopefully I'll have enough games to get my legs beneath me and get my rhythm back."

Finding a role for Love in the offense has never been an issue. He's sometimes overlooked and shorted when it comes to touches, but Love's ability to stretch the floor always makes him a positive factor, regardless of the specific shots he gets. Love is also used to taking a step back, especially after doing so in each of the last four seasons.

The bigger question is how Love will affect the rotation. Head coach Tyronn Lue could start Love at center and put Tristan Thompson on the bench, or he could have Love share the frontcourt with Thompson while someone like Cedi Osman returns to the second unit.
