Jessica Aguilar won't be fighting in her home state after all.

With opponent Livia Renata Souza recently pulling out of Saturday's UFC Fight Night 126 in Austin, Texas, due to a hand injury, the strawweight has been removed from the bill as well, according to MMA Fighting's Danny Segura.

Instead of seeking a replacement to face Aguilar on just days' notice, the promotion opted to reschedule her matchup with Souza for either next week's UFC on FOX 28 in Orlando or UFC 222 in Las Vegas on March 3. Souza's team has since told Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting she likely won't obtain medical clearance in time for the former event, but could compete in the latter.

Saturday's tilt would have seen Aguilar vie for her first promotional victory after dropping lopsided verdicts to Claudia Gadelha and Cortney Casey at UFC 190 and 211, respectively. Souza, a former Invicta FC strawweight champion, was set to make her first walk to the Octagon.
