A Tour sponsor's exemption proved to be a mistake this week at the Club Colombia Championship.

Julio Bell, a former boxer, was given a sponsor's exemption into the tournament, but posted rounds of 93 and 105 for a 36-hole total of 198, just missing the cut by 56 shots at the Country Club of Bogota.

The 52-year-old amateur made four pars, 15 bogeys, 12 double-bogeys, three triple-bogeys, and two quadruple-bogeys over two rounds.
