The first-place Golden State Warriors will take on the third-place San Antonio Spurs on Saturday in what could be a precursor to a potential Western Conference playoff series this spring.
The teams have already established a significant rivalry over the past few seasons. The Spurs eliminated the Warriors in the 2013 playoffs, but Golden State exacted revenge last season by sweeping San Antonio in the Western finals.
