LeBron: 'I would never waive my no-trade clause'

We knew this already, but it's reassuring for fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers to hear it themselves.

LeBron James has made it clear he isn't moving on from Cleveland. Not this season, at least. After Tuesday's embarrassment against the Orlando Magic - where the Cavaliers were up by as much as 21 in the first half, only to lose by 18 - James was asked about waiving his no-trade clause.

"No. I'm here for the long haul," James told reporters. "I'm here for this season right now to figure out ways that we can still compete. I couldn't give up on my teammates like that. I just couldn't do it. We put too much into the game every single day. We go out and prepare. Win, lose, or draw, at the end of the day, we're all brothers and we understand that. I owe it to my teammates to finish this season out no matter how it ends up so I would never waive my no-trade clause."

James has a player option for next season which he will almost assuredly decline amidst the rumors of him fleeing Cleveland to play elsewhere.

The Cavaliers are now 30-22 and have dropped 13 of their last 19 games. Ten of those 13 losses were by double figures.
