Texas nabs top-50 recruit Joshua Moore

National Signing Day is Wednesday, but Texas didn't have to wait to secure one of the nation's top undeclared recruits.

Four-star athlete Joshua Moore, ranked 45th overall on the ESPN 300, announced his commitment to the Longhorns on Sunday. He chose Texas after taking official visits to Alabama, Nebraska, and Oregon.

Moore hails from Yoakum, Texas and gives head coach Tom Herman five of the top six prospects in the Lone Star State heading into National Signing Day.

Texas held the country's third-ranked recruiting class, according to ESPN's rankings, before the Moore commitment.
