Former TCU receiver Kolby Listenbee is suing the school and the Big 12 after experiencing abuse and harassment during the 2015 season.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by Stefan Stevenson of the Star-Telegram, Listenbee claims that after he suffered an injury against SMU during the 2015 campaign, head coach Gary Patterson, former offensive coordinator Doug Meacham, and other coaches "continuously pressured, humiliated, and harassed Listenbee ... in an effort to force Listenbee to return to play quickly."

Listenbee, who was selected in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, appeared in 10 games for the Buffalo Bills, catching 30 passes for 597 yards and five touchdowns. He lasted only one season with the Bills.

The lawsuit claims the "injection of steroids and pain medication, lack of rest due to harassment and abuse from the coaching staff, and strenuous play of football caused" his pelvic cartilage to be damaged to the point that a metal plate was needed to fuse the bones. He claims this ended his chances at the NFL career "he would have had."

TCU responded to Listenbee's allegations Thursday but didn't specifically address his situation.
