Report: BC Vytautas to keep LaMelo, LiAngelo for rest of season

The Ball family had a plan and they're sticking to it.

BC Vytautas will be exercising its options for LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball, which will keep the pair on the roster for the remainder of the season, according to Yahoo Sports' Shams Charania.

Their contracts are set to expire in June.

The brothers were impressive during the Big Baller Brand Challenge against lesser competition. The challenge gave the brothers an opportunity to showcase their talent against younger professional players closer to their age range, while their play in the Lithuanian league (LKL) has been against the top competition in the country.

In three LKL games, the Ball brothers have apparently shown enough to warrant more opportunities. LiAngelo, 19, has averaged 10.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 15.6 minutes per contest. LaMelo, 16, has averaged 6.3 points on just 23.8 percent shooting in 12.1 minutes.
