A rematch between former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and Rashad Evans is being discussed for the main event of UFC London on March 17, Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com reports.

While nothing is finalized, a decision on the fight will be made soon, added Helwani.

Evans beat the Brit via split decision back at UFC 79 in 2007.

Bisping recently turned down a bout with Vitor Belfort due to longstanding personal animosity for what could be a swan song in his home country.

"This is my - if I fight in London - it's my last-ever fight ... I don't want it to be some bitter rivalry with a guy that has caused me lasting disfigurement and that I'm emotionally charged up against," Bisping said, referencing the detached retina in his right eye he sustained against Belfort, which led to numerous surgeries.

Bisping said his family wants him to retire, but it appears the 38-year-old is looking to go out on top after dropping his title to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 in November before losing to Kelvin Gastelum in a quick turnaround later that same month.
