Aly Raisman hammered the United States Olympic Committee on Monday night, saying the organization is "shamelessly taking credit" for the resignation of three USA Gymnastics board members.

The 23-year-old is one of more than 140 women, including fellow Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, that have accused ex-USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar of sexual abuse.

As Nassar's sentencing hearing continues, three USA Gymnastics board members resigned Monday. The USOC issued a statement afterward saying the committee had been engaged in discussions about changing the culture of USA Gymnastics since last October.

Raisman responded via Twitter, demanding the Olympic organization be accountable for its own role in the scandal.

Raisman was among a number of gymnasts who delivered powerful testimony about Nassar's abuse last week.

Nassar, 54, pleaded guilty to child pornography charges last year and was sentenced to 60 years in prison for that case. In November, he pleaded guilty to 10 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and will be sentenced after his victims are done reading impact statements in court.
