Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson are early favorites to win the 2018 edition of The Masters in Augusta, Ga., in April.
Tiger Woods' odds dramatically improved from the opening numbers, which were released last August.
Here are the 10 golfers with the best odds for the event, according to Westgate sportsbook in Las Vegas:
Golfer | Current Odds | Opening Odds |
---|---|---|
Jordan Spieth | 7/1 | 7/1 |
Dustin Johnson | 7/1 | 8/1 |
Rory McIlroy | 10/1 | 10/1 |
Jon Rahm | 12/1 | 20/1 |
Rickie Fowler | 15/1 | 15/1 |
Justin Rose | 15/1 | 20/1 |
Justin Thomas | 15/1 | 25/1 |
Tiger Woods | 20/1 | 100/1 |
Jason Day | 20/1 | 15/1 |
Hideki Matsuyama | 20/1 | 15/1 |
Patrick Cantlay improved to 50/1 after opening at 150/1, no doubt thanks to his victory at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in November.
Xander Schauffele is now at 60/1 after opening at 100/1. He became the first rookie to ever win the Tour Championship when he edged Justin Thomas by a single stroke to claim that tourney back in September.
