The Cleveland Cavaliers have suffered some lopsided defeats this season, but their 148-124 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday was perhaps the worst of them all.

A former member of the Thunder, Enes Kanter, seemingly chose to add salt to the wound with a tweet celebrating the Thunder's big game. Apparently, one of his former teammates reminded him it might not be a good idea to upset Cavaliers star LeBron James - someone he's had a few run-ins with earlier in the year.

"One texted me just to say - I'm not going to say who - but he texted me, 'You're about to get 50 dropped on you, boy.'" Kanter said, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. "I responded something back, but I'm not going to say what it is."

Kanter, now with the New York Knicks, took issue with James earlier this season, both on social media and in-game. The outspoken Knicks center never hesitates to cause controversy, but also showed his respect and admiration for James.

"He got mad at me, obviously," Kanter said, in reference to his past dispute. "I mess with him a lot, but obviously he's the best player in the league. I respect the guy a lot."

The next time Kanter and the Knicks face the Cavaliers will be April 9 in New York.
