Brian Duensing's free-agent tour has brought him back to the Windy City.

Duensing came to an agreement with the Chicago Cubs on a 2-year, $7-million deal, reports Jon Heyman of FanRagSports.

The 34-year-old left-hander had deals for "significantly more money elsewhere," but enjoyed last season with the Cubs so much he wanted to return, Heyman added.

Duensing was impressive during 68 appearances for the Cubs in 2017, recording a 2.74 ERA in 62 1/3 innings, which also included a strikeout rate of 8.8 per nine innings.

He joins a Cubs' bullpen that features new additions Brandon Morrow and Steve Cishek, both of whom signed multi-year deals this offseason.
