Report: Florida State expected to hire Maryland's Bell as OC

Florida State is expected to install Maryland's Walt Bell as its new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, a source told Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.

Bell has spent the last two years serving as Maryland's offensive coordinator, resurrecting a unit that had struggled mightily. He's been regarded as one of the up-and-coming coaches in college football.

With Bell reportedly in the fold and Harlon Barnett already hired to run the defense, head coach Willie Taggart now appears to have his coordinators in place.
