White rips Hall's training habits, weight management following missed weigh-in

UFC President Dana White wasn't the least bit impressed with the co-main event of UFC St. Louis being scrapped due to Uriah Hall missing weigh-in, and he made sure to let the world know about it.

White was decidedly critical of Hall, who fainted on his way to the scale and was subsequently hospitalized, calling into question his methods of weight management and his dedication to fight preparation.

"The guys at the UFC (Performance Institute) said he’s the, what’s the word - he doesn’t take it serious," White said in a postfight media scrum following UFC Fight Night 124, according to Mike Bohn and John Morgan of MMA Junkie. "He doesn’t take his training serious, he doesn’t do what anybody tells him. He does his own thing. A week before the fight, he went to L.A. and was hanging out in L.A. in clubs and stuff. So, not good.

"He texted me (Sunday night)," White added. "He’s back in his room. Obviously he’s not good. And if you don’t cut weight the right way and you don’t do what you’re supposed to do, this is what happens."

White went on to suggest that, upon his return, Hall's best course of action might be to fight at 205 pounds, or begin to start cutting weight "properly and safely."
