Retired NFL quarterback Rich Gannon told 95.7 The Game he won't be accepting the role of Oakland Raiders quarterbacks coach.
"I came to my senses" while on a flight to Oakland on Tuesday, Gannon said, according to Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area.
Gannon also said he couldn't, or didn't want to, match head coach Jon Gruden's intensity and time commitment.
Gannon served as the Raiders quarterback from 1999-2004, playing his first three seasons under Gruden.
