After being held scoreless in the opening half of the national championship game on Monday, Nick Saban made a change at quarterback for Alabama, and it's safe to say it had been a smashing success after two drives.

Standout sophomore Jalen Hurts was benched for Tua Tagovailoa, and after a quick three-and-out on his first drive, the freshman showed off his incredible skills on his second possession.

First, it was an incredible scramble on a third-and-long, avoiding a number of tackles before running for a huge first down. A few plays later, Tagovailoa would put up Alabama's first points of the game, finding Henry Ruggs III in the end zone to cut the lead to 13-7.
