It was a rough night at the office for LeBron James. Historically rough.

The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered an embarrassing 127-99 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, as James finished with a minus-39 rating, which marks the worst plus-minus of his 15-year career, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Cleveland ceded far too many possessions by way of turnovers (14 to Minny's five) and was outrebounded 56-37.

James had 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and three turnovers in 27 minutes and also finished with the worst plus-minus on his squad. He's averaging 27.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, 9.1 assists, 1.7 steals, and a block in 37.2 minutes per outing for the No. 3-seeded Cavaliers.

With the defeat, James also fell to 5-12 all time in head-to-head matchups with Jimmy Butler, whom he battled for years while Butler played for Chicago. Cleveland will look to bounce back in Thursday's nationally televised tilt in Toronto against the Raptors.
