Los Angeles FC completed the acquisition of midfielder Benny Feilhaber from Sporting KC on Wednesday in exchange for $200,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) and $200,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM).

Feilhaber helped Sporting KC win the MLS Cup in 2013 and made 180 appearances for the club during five seasons.

"Benny has enjoyed great success as an incredibly productive midfielder and has won multiple trophies here in MLS," LAFC general manager and executive vice president of soccer operations John Thorrington said. "He has valuable experience and will provide stability and productivity to our midfield."

Feilhaber will once again link up with LAFC head coach Bob Bradley, who managed the 32-year-old at the international level with the United States Men's National Team.

"Benny and I shared some good days with the U.S. National Team," Bradley said. "I am excited to work with him again. He has an attacking quality and an excellent understanding of the game. We welcome Benny to LAFC."

Feilhaber is the 10th player to join the LAFC roster, which includes Carlos Vela and Laurent Ciman, ahead of the team's inaugural MLS season.
