Texas A&M's Kirk declares for 2018 NFL Draft

Kim Klement / USA TODAY Sports

Texas A&M junior wide receiver Christian Kirk announced Tuesday that he's declared for the NFL draft.

Kirk, a projected first-round pick, is widely regarded as one of the best prospects at his position, thanks partly to his tremendous speed and special-teams upside.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pounder finished the season on a high note by grabbing a game-high 13 receptions with 189 yards and three touchdowns in the Aggies' 55-52 Belk Bowl loss to Wake Forest.

On the season, he finished with 71 receptions and 919 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns. Kirk leaves the college ranks with 243 receptions, 2,856 yards, and 26 touchdowns after three years with the Aggies.
