Georgia is going to the big dance.

The Bulldogs punched their ticket to the national championship on Monday, knocking off Oklahoma with a thrilling double-overtime victory, capped off by a 27-yard touchdown run by Sony Michel.

The touchdown, Michel's fourth of the game, came after Georgia's Lorenzo Carter blocked a 27-yard field-goal attempt by Sooners kicker Austin Seibert, giving the advantage to Georgia in the latter half of the second overtime period.

Michel finished the contest with 181 rushing yards on just 11 carries, while fellow senior Nick Chubb complimented that effort with 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns of his own.

The victory marks the highest-scoring Rose Bowl game in history and is the second time Georgia has ever won "The Granddaddy of Them All," the first coming all the way back in 1943 against UCLA.

Georgia will now await the result of the Sugar Bowl between Clemson and Alabama to see who it will meet in the national championship game.
