Lithuanian coach promises Ball brothers will play a lot

Big Ballers get big minutes.

LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball are set to join Lithuanian club Prienu Vytautas this week, and head coach Virginijus Seskus ensures they'll get plenty of burn.

"They are young, but I can promise that they will play a lot and I hope we will help them to get better, and they will help us to win more games," he said, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

"We are waiting for them. Don't worry, they will play!"

The younger brothers of Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball will touch down Wednesday in Vilnius, Lithuania, and make their debuts the following Tuesday. Beset by injuries, Prienu Vytautas will rely on the Ball brothers to suit up in both Baltic League and Lithuanian league games.

Their father, LaVar, pulled LaMelo, 16, out of Chino Hills High School to home school him, and did the same with the 19-year-old LiAngelo after the freshman was suspended indefinitely by UCLA for shoplifting in China. A quest to prepare them for the NBA sent them overseas, where LaVar's main request was for his sons to play together. It sounds like he'll get his wish.

"How much they will play depends the opponent, and what the strategy will be," Seskus said. "But both will play a lot of minutes so that means that they will play for sure on the court at the same time."
