Rosen misses Cactus Bowl, possibly ending NCAA career

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen was officially inactive for his team's matchup with Kansas State in the Cactus Bowl on Tuesday.

Rosen suffered his second concussion of the season in UCLA's regular-season finale; however, the program did not provide an official reason for his inactive status, according to ESPN's Josh Weinfuss. He went through warmups in full uniform before returning to the field in street clothes for the game, and was reportedly not expected to play due to doctor's orders.

Though he is expected to be a top pick if he enters the 2018 NFL Draft, the junior quarterback has yet to make a decision regarding his status and is reportedly wary of being drafted by the winless Cleveland Browns. Rosen commented Tuesday he would "rather be a lower pick at the right team than a higher (pick) at the wrong team".

If Rosen does enter the draft, he will have finished his college career with 9,301 passing yards, 59 touchdowns, and 26 interceptions over 30 games played.
