Quiet star Quinton Flowers closes career with 2 epic performances

If the rest of the country was unaware of Quinton Flowers heading into December, South Florida's star quarterback probably changed that with two amazing performances to close out his college career.

After a brilliant showing in a losing effort in the regular-season finale against UCF, Flowers played the hero in South Florida's dramatic Birmingham Bowl win over Texas Tech on Saturday.

As is usually the case with Flowers, he saved his best for the fourth quarter, leading the Bulls on three scoring drives, including the game-winning touchdown pass with 16 seconds to play.

Flowers compiled over 1,000 combined yards of total offense across the final two games of his career, while playing a part in 10 total touchdowns.

His performance on Saturday against Texas Tech also saw him reach a number of different milestones in his illustrious career.

Whether the former three-star recruit has a future in the NFL or a different professional football league remains to be seen, but wherever he ends up, Flowers will instantly add a ton of excitement to that organization.
