The top prospect in the nation made it official Wednesday as five-star dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields signed with Georgia.

Fields committed to Kirby Smart's program in early October, but made it official with the Bulldogs on the first day of college football’s early signing period.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound signal-caller chose the Bulldogs over Alabama, LSU, Arizona, Florida State, and Texas, among others.

The Kennesaw, Ga. native will compete with Jake Fromm and Jacob Eason for the starting position in 2018.
