The Colorado Rockies seem to want all the relievers.

After reportedly agreeing to contracts with free-agent relievers Bryan Shaw and Jake McGee in the last 24 hours, Colorado is closing in on a deal to re-sign All-Star closer Greg Holland, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.

The sides have yet to come to an agreement, though Heyman reports there's "strong optimism" the deal will get done.

The 32-year-old joined the Rockies last offseason after missing all of 2016 due to Tommy John surgery, revitalizing his career in the Mile High City with a stellar comeback campaign. As the anchor of a Rockies bullpen that played a key role in the team's run to the NL wild-card game, Holland saved a National League-leading 41 games and posted a 3.61 ERA while averaging 11 strikeouts per nine innings pitched. He also finished a league-best 58 of his 61 appearances last year.

Holland was named an All-Star for the third time in his career this past summer, and also won this year's NL Comeback Player of the Year award.

Once again, he'll likely be called upon to close and anchor what could be a dominant Rockies bullpen in 2018 and beyond, but he'll now have plenty of help at the back end thanks to the pending re-signing of McGee and reported addition of Shaw from Cleveland.

Holland has saved 186 games with a career ERA of 2.60 and an average of 11.9 strikeouts per nine during his seven-year career with the Rockies and Kansas City Royals. In 2014, he was named the AL Mariano Rivera Reliever of the Year.
