Missouri announced a two-year extension Saturday for head coach Barry Odom that will keep him under contract through the 2022 season.

The move comes on the heels of a six-game winning streak to cap the regular season after the Tigers dropped five of their first six contests to open the campaign.

Odom vowed to turn the program's fortunes around following the third loss - a blowout at the hands of Auburn - in a passionate postgame rant that made national headlines.

Missouri is winding down its second season with Odom at the helm and will meet Texas in the Texas Bowl on Dec. 27. The Tigers are 11-13 overall under his watch.
