One of the longest championship droughts in North America is over.

With apologies to the CFL's Toronto Argonauts, there will be a victory parade in The Six for the first time in 24 years thanks to Toronto FC's triumph Saturday over the Seattle Sounders in the MLS Cup final.

The victory marks the first time a major victory parade will roll down the streets of Toronto since Joe Carter's walk-off home run secured back-to-back World Series titles for the Toronto Blue Jays.
