A female student filed for a protective order against Oklahoma running back Rodney Anderson on Monday, according to Spenser Davis of the Dallas Morning News.

The allegation that prompted the application for a protective order has not yet been publicized, according to Dean Blevins of News9. A team spokesperson said the school is gathering information about the situation. A hearing is set for Dec. 18.

Anderson led Oklahoma in rushing this season with 960 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Sooners are slated to face Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal on New Year's Day.
