The Washington Wizards are getting their All-Star floor general back.

Barring a setback, point guard John Wall will make his return to the starting lineup Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, a team official told ESPN's Mike Wise.

Wall will miss his ninth game Tuesday due to inflammation and discomfort in his left knee, which became an issue back on Nov. 7 when he made knee-to-knee contact with an opposing player in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

During Wall's absence, in which Washington has gone 4-4, guard Bradley Beal has shouldered a bulk of the scoring load, highlighted by a 51-point performance in a 14-point win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Dec. 5. This stretch has included three outings of 11 or fewer points, though.

Tim Frazier was inserted as a starter in Wall['s stead, only managing to average 5.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 21.5 minutes. That's a significant drop-off from the 20.3 points, 3.4 boards, and 9.2 assists in 34.4 minutes Wall had been contributing prior to going down.
