Brian Ortega had himself a banner night in more ways than one Saturday.
The 26-year-old took Performance of the Night honors and shared in Fight of the Night spoils with Cub Swanson - good for $50,000 each - at UFC Fight Night 123 in Fresno, Calif., where he submitted Swanson with a wicked guillotine choke in the second round of the featherweight main event. In his last outing, Ortega pocketed $26,000 to show and as much to win for his third-round tapout of Renato Moicano at UFC 214.
Bantamweight Marlon Moraes took the bill's remaining Performance of the Night bonus, one he earned with a 67-second starching of Aljamain Sterling on the evening's main card.
