UCLA's Rosen exits early vs. Cal with apparent injury

Kirby Lee / USA TODAY Sports

UCLA took the field for the second half of Friday's game against Cal without Josh Rosen, as the star quarterback remained in the locker room to have an apparent injury evaluated.

Rosen was subject to numerous hits from the Golden Bears defense throughout the opening half, hitting the turf violently on multiple occasions. It's unclear when the injury occurred.

Despite the fact he was under constant barrage, Rosen had his way with the Cal defense in a brilliant first half. The star junior threw for 202 yards and two scores in the opening frame.

While no word has been given by the Bruins, Rosen was seen on the sidelines in the second half in street clothes, signifying he's out for the game.
