It was this close.

After the Oklahoma City Thunder squandered a massive 23-point lead Friday against the San Antonio Spurs, Carmelo Anthony thought he played the hero when his 3-point attempt fell with 5.6 seconds left, seemingly tying it up at 102. Unfortunately, all he really did was pull the Thunder to within one as his make was ruled a long two thanks to his foot just barely toeing the 3-point line.

Upon being immediately fouled on the next possession, Pau Gasol would sink both free throws, helping the Spurs lock up the huge comeback win, 104-101.
