Corey Kluber claimed his second career American League Cy Young Award on Wednesday, and it wasn't even close.

The Cleveland Indians right-hander received 28 of 30 first-place votes from the Baseball Writers' Association of America to beat out Chris Sale of the Boston Red Sox and Luis Severino of the New York Yankees.

PITCHER 1st 2nd 3rd Points
Corey Kluber 28 2 - 204
Chris Sale 2 28 - 126
Luis Severino - - 20 73

Kluber went 18-4 with a 2.25 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, and 265 strikeouts across 203 2/3 innings while holding opponents to a .193 batting average. He led the league in wins, ERA, WHIP, opponent batting average, and complete games.

The 31-year-old, who also claimed the award in 2014, became the first Indians pitcher to win multiple Cy Young Awards, and is the 19th pitcher in history to win at least twice.

Sale, meanwhile, finished in the top six of Cy Young voting for a sixth consecutive season, while his second-place finish in 2017 is the highest of his career.
