Frank Ntilikina's teammates have his back.

Both Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter expressed opposition to LeBron James, who said the New York Knicks should've drafted Dennis Smith Jr. over the French point guard.

"The Knicks passed on a really good one … He should be a Knick," the Cleveland Cavaliers icon said following Saturday's victory over Smith and the Dallas Mavericks.

"I don't know why he said that ... I wouldn't trade Frank for anybody," Porzingis said Sunday, as quoted by The New York Times' Adam Zagoria.

Kanter shared that sentiment on Twitter:

James praised the No. 9 pick in Smith, who registered 21 points, seven assists, five rebounds, two blocks, and two steals against the Cavs.

Instead of the N.C. State product, New York selected Ntilikina eighth overall in June. He's averaging 4.4 points, five assists, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 20.2 minutes per game for the 7-5 Knicks.
