No. 7 2018 recruit Keldon Johnson commits to Kentucky

Keldon Johnson, the No. 7 recruit on the 2018 ESPN 100 board, has announced his commitment to the Kentucky Wildcats for next season.

Listed as a 6-foot-6 wing, Johnson will finish his senior year of high school at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia. The program claims Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and Rajon Rondo among its notable alumni.

Among shooting guards and small forwards, Johnson is ranked fourth only to Duke commits R.J. Barrett (No. 1 overall) and Cam Reddish (No. 3), and undeclared Romeo Langford (No. 5) for next year's recruit class. Johnson joins No. 12 Immanuel Quickley as the second member of coach John Calipari's 2018 haul so far.
