Report: Cruz out of UFC 219 with broken arm
Dominick Cruz has been pulled from his UFC 219 fight against Jimmie Rivera due to a broken arm, sources told Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting.
It's yet to be determined whether Rivera will remain on the Dec. 30 card, Helwani added.
Many believed the winner of Cruz-Rivera would take on T.J. Dillashaw, who won the UFC bantamweight title by defeating Cody Garbrandt at UFC 217 this past Saturday.
John Lineker has been suggested as a potential replacement and told Guilherme Cruz of MMA Fighting that he'd like to step in to face Rivera.
John Lineker offered to be a backup plan in case something happened here. Book it. https://t.co/WPm3hUOTVF

Cruz's last fight took place against Garbrandt at UFC 207, where he lost the UFC bantamweight title via unanimous decision.
