LeBron backpedals after posting cryptic Arthur meme

LeBron James appears to have a different understanding of the Arthur's fist meme than the rest of the world.

After posting the meme - which features the closed fist of animated aardvark Arthur of the eponymous children's show - on Instagram on Monday, James clarified the sentiment of the post with a follow-up:

Mood Forever.... 👑#StriveForGreatness🚀

While the meme is wildly accepted to represent frustration or anger, James' post seems to gravitate toward a more positive meaning - one of confidence.

So, never mind that the Cavaliers are off to a sluggish 4-6 start to the season, or that James' ex-teammate Kyrie Irving was putting the finishing touches on a 35-point outing Monday night, lifting the Boston Celtics to a league-best 9-2 record. If James is to be believed, his post wasn't at all about the Cavs' recent struggles.

That didn't stop Warriors forward Draymond Green from lobbing a troll post of his own in James' direction, however. Petty season is in full effect.
