After two years overseas, Wilin Rosario wants another crack at the big leagues.

Following a two-year stint in the Korea Baseball Organization, Rosario, who spent five seasons with the Colorado Rockies before signing with the Hanwha Eagles, is hoping to catch on with an MLB club this offseason, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick.

Much like Eric Thames, who landed a three-year deal with the Milwaukee Brewers last winter after a remarkable three-season run with the NC Dinos, Rosario was a beast in Korea. In 2016, Rosario hit .321/.367/.593 with 33 homers and 31 doubles in 127 games, finishing 15th in the famously hitter-friendly league in OPS (.961). He then followed up his remarkable rookie campaign with an even stronger season in 2017, finishing second in the league with a 1.074 OPS while smacking 37 homers in 119 contests.

Rosario, who turns 29 in February, wasn't nearly as dominant during his time with the Rockies. In parts of five seasons with Colorado, Rosario, who started his career as a catcher before getting moved to first base in 2014, hit .273/.306/.473 (98 OPS+) in 447 games. In 2015, his last season before heading to Korea, Rosario managed a career-worst .710 OPS while putting up -0.9 WAR in 87 games.
